As students and parents may be aware, we have encountered some difficulties in finding local competitions that we can enter due to the politics involved in karate. S.K.K are affiliated with NAKMAS and believe in the association and what it stands for which is solid grass roots karate. They support excellent campaigns such as Anti Bullying and Safe Kids along with research into autism.
After many hours of research and phone calls with great Shotokan legends such as Bob Poynton and Peter Allen we have found several competitions suitable for our club (minus the politics) within the North East.
