Lesley Reed, Black Belt 1st Dan (19th October 2013)
Everyone at S.K.K would like to congratulate Lesley Reed who passed her Black Belt grading on 29/09/13. After years of dedication, commitment and hard work it has paid off and she has reached her goal. We believe Lesley is an asset to have as part of the club and have welcomed her to be part of our instructor team…
Lesley began training in 1983 and achieved her brown belt. Lesley took a break from martial arts and but realised she had never lost her passion for karate and returned 3 years ago for personal health reasons.
Lesley said, ”I am a supporter of the anti-bullying campaign and am a firm believer it is essential that a childs confidence can be built upon. Every child has the right to feel safe and protected, in body and in mind. Strength comes from within and I believe that anyone can attain anything, no matter what the circumstances”.
